Growing Little Learners! Farmhouse Kinder is for families in the Wyndham City Shire, conveniently situated in the suburb of Tarneit. Christian values and Reggio Emilia inspired learning guide every aspect of our mission to help grow little learners.
Farmhouse Kinder offers fully funded kindergarten programs for three and four year-old children, with two 7.5-hour sessions per week per child. We are firm believers in the importance of a play-based approach, and we are passionate about nurturing life-long learning and fostering meaningful friendships.
We believe that every child deserves to be heard, supported and appreciated. Our team of farmers (educators) work with families to create a nurturing environment. We cater for each child’s unique needs and interests while allowing them to grow and learn at their own pace.
Farmhouse Kinder is operated with the support of Lutheran Education Victoria, New South Wales and Tasmania (LEVNT) and promotes values of kindness, empathy, understanding, forgiveness, acceptance and respect. These values guide our interactions with children, their families, and each other.
Our goal is to build a strong and inclusive community where everyone belongs. We take pride in the warm and welcoming environment where children learn, thrive and have fun. At Farmhouse Kinder, we believe that by working together, we make a positive impact on the lives of the children and families we serve.
Limited places are available across our funded kindergarten programs. If you are seeking a place where your little learner can grow, we invite you to join us at Farmhouse Kinder. We can’t wait to welcome you to our community.
Farmhouse Kinder believes in the holistic growth of children, nurturing their intellectual, emotional, social, and spiritual development. Our faith-based approach helps children develop compassion, kindness, and respect for others, while personalised attention and open communication creates a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for every child.
PHILOSOPHY
‘How’ we grow little learners
At Farmhouse Kinder, we strive to grow little learners in a nurturing environment that instils a love of knowledge for three and four year-old children. These early years of development lay the foundation for shaping personality, abilities and attitudes.
Farmhouse Kinder educators empower children with the skills and knowledge for a successful transition to primary school, while fostering their intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual development. As a faith-based organisation, we are committed to teaching Christian values,
helping children understand and appreciate the importance of compassion, kindness and respect for themselves and others.
Staff provide attention to each child to create an atmosphere of mutual respect, open communication and active learning. Farmhouse Kinder values the diversity, rich cultures and customs that reflect our diverse community. We provide families with a high-quality educational experience that supports children’s growth, development, and well-being. We firmly uphold the Australian Child Safe Standards, prioritising the safety and well-being of every child in our care including children from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders communities. We view the partnership with families and the community as a vital part of ensuring children’s safety.
